JACOB RICE

Jacob Rice is a criminal defence lawyer practising in the Greater Toronto Area.
Jacob completed his Bachelor of Arts with Honours (B.A. Hons.) at Wilfrid Laurier University and his Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB Hons.) at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England. After completing his articles with a prominent sole practitioner in criminal defence, Jacob was called to the bar in 2026.
Jacob has recently joined as an Associate with KMS Legal, bringing a compassionate, client-centred approach with firm and principled advocacy, guiding clients through every stage of the criminal justice process. Jacob has experience working on matters involving various criminal charges including assault, uttering threats, criminal harassment, sexual assault, and firearm offences. Jacob is a zealous advocate for the rights of his clients and works hard to achieve the best possible outcome for each and every person he represents.
